National Korean Martial Arts Association
On the weekend August 13-15, 2010, GM Rudy W. Timmerman will have practiced martial arts for sixty years, and Grand Masters and Masters from across the globe will come to Sault Ste Marie to celebrate this milestone of his career.
No less than a half dozen Grand Masters have promised to attend and donate one hour of their time to present the particular art they represent at the Super Seminar Grand Master Timmerman usually hosts at that time.
Featured are: (in order of their commitment) GM James McMurray, founder of MooHap Sool; GM Michael DeAlba, founder of Modern Farang Mu Sul; GM Ken MacKenzie, representing Sin Moo Hap Ki Do; GM Serge Baubil, founder of Hoshinkido: GM Geoff Booth, founder of Australia HKD group; and GM Marlin Sims founder of UMSF.
Together with GM Timmerman, inheritor of Kong Shin Bup™, they will present the best their arts have to offer on Saturday, August 14, 2010. In addition, a number of high ranking NKMAA Masters will present activities such as Sword Cutting, Staff Spinning, Ki- Breaking, and more on the 13th and 15th of August.
In all, it will be a historical event of epic proportions in Korean Martial arts. Never before have such a large number of Korean Grand Masters come together in mutual respect and cooperation to celebrate the accomplishments of one of their peers.
The event will feature Grand Masters and Masters of Hap Ki Do, Kuk Sool, Kong
Shin Bup™, Tae Kwon Do, Tang Soo Do, and more. Korean martial arts at its
very best!
As you can imagine, this will be a
sell out event, and interested parties will have to
reserve a spot way ahead of time. In fact, I suspect that the event will be
sold out within the month due to the limited space at our venue.
